Here is Pilar admiring MY pig. Hey Pilar don't get any ideas it is MY PIGGY!!!! Did you all know that this piggy makes a really cool noise. Dad said it sounds like a deer call! He better not get any ideas about my piggy either.

Well all is good in my world now that my family is home. I am content. I got to wake everyone at 7AM. Mom wasn't to happy about it but I just needed to let her know that she was home with ME. I had lots to tell her about my life while she was gone. We will share all of it with you!!!! Until later my pawed friends!!!

Hmmmm

My mommy is still on vacation.  Do you ever think she will come home?  It has almost been 3 weeks.  Thanks to everyone who keeps coming by to check on me.  Thanks for NOT being like my hoomans and bailing on my.  I seriously am going to make their lives miserable when they get home.  No lovin' for them.  I think I am going to POUT as long as I can.  That should teach them a lesson!!!!

Mr Cracker Jack Griffendale

Hi everyone! Today I am writing about my friend Cracker Jack from the Griffendale's. Most of you know the Griffendales because they have 3 dales that live at their house. Their mommy and daddy helped out with the special dog "Sierra" by getting her to her new home.
Well....Mr. Cracker Jack had to have surgery today. He is a very loving, active, playful handsome Airedale. In saying that I will let mommy tell you what happened cuz I just don't get it:
*Mommy here, quick over view. Jack Jack was under foot in the kitchen after dinner. A corn cob was dropped and he ate it before anyone could grab it. He just wouldn't give it up so off to the doctor he went. He had surgery and is recovering well.*
Thanks mommy I get it now. His sister Lola Belle told me he was very bwave and didn't know what the big deal was. He just thought that was one more thing for him to chew on. He is such a wild and crazy guy. He is the house clown!! When Lola Belle called me I was scared becauwse she was bawking and bawking. She had to stay behind with Roy and boy was she mad!!!
Today is a better day at the Griffendale's. Jack Jack's surgery went good and he is at the hospital. We are sure he is getting lots of smooches from the staff. How could they resist him!!!
We are asking all our bloggy pals to send love and aire prayers to Jack Jack & his hoomans. They sure could use them right now. Please please don't forget to pray for Jackson. He still needs all your prayers too.

This is Willow signing out for today. Love to all of you and be safe!

What's up with this?

What the crap is this?  Can you believe it?  First they are snuggling together and NOW they are sleeping together.  This just isn't right.  I call airefoul!!  Now, I don't do this to any other 4 pawed hoomans.  Ok, not intentionally anyway.  I may snuggle with them but this.....THis ......THIS is pawrageous!!!!  This is no light sleep either my friends.  Look at my mamma Apache carefully.  She has the roaching position but is sound asleep.   Do you see her touching my girl with her foot?  I can't look anymore....... let's move on and see what my boy is doing.

Ok I just can't seem to win here!  This is Milo the Aire puppy.  He seems to like my boy.    Would you look at those ears?  I found out that Ty gave him a treat and this is how he thanks hoomans for treats!  Thank goodness he found a home and is going to be flying those friendly skies tomorrow!!!  One puppy down at grandmas!!  Woohoo

Back at the home front, dad picked some vegetables from our garden that sploded.  In case you are all wondering, yes I have been getting to eat some of them.  They are really good.  My pawrents made such a big garden they forgot what they planted.  Silly hoomans.
SO, this is Willow signing out from the compound.  Warning all of you to go with your kids when they go to grandma's.  They cheat on you with grandma's 4 pawed ones and that's just crap!!!!

Meet Sierra!!

                                                                     SIERRA

Hi everyone, Willow here.  I have decided to take a day off from my whining and complaining about my family being gone.  I decided I would take a day off from feeling neglected.  Why you ask?  I am doing this so I can share my story about my cousin Sierra with all of you.  Now if you have been over to Beasely's Blog you have already heard about Sierra.  If not then let me introduce you.........
Sierra is a 7 month old Rare Black Airedale that resides at the Tenkiller Airedale Kennels.  She is very sweet and loves to help out all those she lives with.  My grandma got a call one day from a lady named Allison saying she needed a worker dog because her dog just died.  She told my grandma her story of growing up in an orphanage, living in a dirty environment and getting Polio.   This is one nasty disease my friends.  I sure am glad we fur kids can't get it!

Allison had a post-polio status for many years.  She grew up to live a fairly normal life, married, raised children, volunteered with autistic children and children in crisis.  These are just some of the volunteer work she has done in her lifetime.   All I do is volunteer my poops to my boy, slurps to my mommy and whining to dad.  Hmmmm

Allison is now 54 years old and became sick with her Polio again.  She no longer can walk or work or do the things she once did.   When she reached out for help in the community that she helped for so long she got NO help.  So my grandma donated Sierra to her and another kind lady who trains worker dogs has volunteered her time to train Sierra.   If I could I would bite me some people, but instead we are going to help her.  We at our house are giving up a month of treats and toys.  Mom says we are kinda spoiled and can go without for a month.

Sierra and Allison need to be together as soon as possible.  We are trying to raise funds for the flight, the spaying and training materials.  Sierra will be flying from El Paso, Texas to Maine.  We know times are hard for everyone so any little bit can help these two out!  Thanks fur pals for reading about Sierra and Allison.  I am sure they will keep us up to date on their status or Apache will.    If you can help out please contact my human at cactusbird70@comcast.net.
This is Willow signing out from the lonely Compound.  Don't worry I will be back to feeling sorry for myself tomorrow.  I still say no to the puppy.  My mom said something about a Red one.  She scares me!!

Sierra and Pita hanging out at the fence.  Sierra is telling Pita about the big trip she is going to take.   She was enquiring about a map!  Sierra wants to know what it is like in Maine.  Being that she was born in the desert she is a little worried.  After all...... I was born in the desert and now live in the Midwest.  Ummmm is that the same thing?

This is a picture of my fur mommy and my girl Ally.  I guess it didn't take her long to find a replacement for me!!!            OK so what if she looks like me Ally..... she is my fur mom after all.  Don't let her fool you.  I am a lot sweeter!!!  Do NOT bring her home!!  Or any other dog/puppy for that matter.  Dad says NOPE, NOPE, NOPE!!!!

LOOK now mama Apache is trying to take over Ty!!!  Oh, this just can't be happening to ME!!!!   AND...... now i hear my sister Jazzy wants to take Ty to her house!  Grrrr,  Dale Snaps what is a girl to do???

Beasely if you happen to see my mom while she is out there you have to help me out buddy ok.
  1. Don't let her bring home a puppy!
  2. Remind her that life really is all about me!!
  3. Look at her with those "Dale" eyes and say "remember these....Willow's are waiting for you at home!"
  4. Then get tough and say "ADMIT IT LADY YOUR LIFE WOULD SUCK WITHOUT ME HER!!!  NOW GO HOME!!!"
SO ENOUGH RANTING.  THANK YOU ALL FOR HELPING ME WITH THIS STRESSFUL TIME.  I WILL BE HERE DAY OR NIGHT  ANYTIME TO HELP YOU OUT WHEN YOU NEED IT!!!

I GUESS IT WILL BE WHAT IT WILL BE!!!
LOVE TO ALL OF YOU,
WILLOW AND THE GANG

OH NO!!!

DO YOU ALL SEE THIS????  That is MY boy hangin' with those puppies.  Rumor has it he has been running and playing with them too!  Not good my friends not good!!  What about ME hmmm?  Yes I said it.  What about me???  I am just as cute as those puppies.   I even mind better!!
I heard those puppies were bad bad bad kids today!  They had Ty and mom running in circles.  They (all 8) got a tarp, tore it up, then got caught up in it.  Mom tried to get them out and as soon as she got one out that pup would turn around and get right back in it!!!!  My boy just stood back and laughed at this scene.  teehee  But mom got him back by making him pick up lots of puppy poop!!!!  teeeeheeee  He hates this job!!!

Then the puppies managed to get into the shed, they are magicians, and went shopping!!!  They came out with all sorts of stuff.  Again, mommy was on the chase trying to get the stuff from them.  The ONLY one that minds her is Pita.  She and Pita bonded last time she was here.  (She bottle fed Pita for those 3 weeks)  Mom said she would bring Pita home but me and dad said NO NO NO!!!

So I guess I could say I am lonely for my mom and kids!  It doesn't look like they miss me very much.  George how did you do it?  Maybe I should just sneak out and go to your house since you live the closest to me.  I could hitch a ride up to your house....it's only a few hours away right!!!!  Your pawrents would love on me!!!

The good news!  Yes there is some.  Grandma bought me a present, I hope one of many she will send home with my pups.  My friend Sarah comes over everyday in the afternoon and my other grandma comes over for a few hours in the morning everyday.   So all is good in the loving department!  Well I am off to nap.

This is Willow signing out from the Compound today!  No words of advice today!!
